Derive happiness in oneself from a good day’s work, from illuminating the fog that surrounds us.
— Henri Matisse
Today I am celebrating the beauty of my last day of summer. I could sit here and feel sad that my summer vacation is over and it is time to go back to work, but I am not. I am thinking about the joys of tomorrow.
Driving to work tomorrow will be my chance to visit with my friend.
I know that at work I will be surrounded by strong, intelligent women.
The beginning of a new school year has a way of bringing out a person’s best and revealing their amazing beauty.
It will be an enjoyable day getting reacquainted with everyone.
Returning home, I will cook dinner and feel the warmth of my home.
If everything works out, later in the evening Terri and I will go for a run.
I will miss my summertime fun. Eventhough I didn’t accomplish everything on my summer list, it was still one of my best summers. I will carry over the items on my list to a fall list. 🙂
Today was a cross training day. I did 30 minutes of weight training and 30 minutes of yoga.
